12 Artists, 12 Days- it's almost time again

It's nearly that time again. Last year I ran a blogalong sharing an artist a day who were inspiring me at the time. This will be the second year, and whilst many of the artists from last year are still influencing me there are also other artists whose work is also inspiring my work. You can see last years artists here.


 My intention is to explore and consolidate what is inspiring me at the moment, to introduce some new artists (assuming that there will be some you already know and some you will be seeing for the first time) and to discover some new artists myself hopefully by your participation. I'm really curious to do this again in a year or two to see what's changed, who I'm looking at and so on.  I'm not going to ramble on about why I have chosen who I chose but let the artist's work speak for itself, the hardest thing is picking only 12 there are so many amazing artists out there, and so many I am soon to meet. I really hope you'll join me starting on September the 14th:

 How you can participate 
  • You could join me on your own blog (starting on the 14th of September, but spread the word now), introducing artists that you love and admire, either just one, or as many as you like, either with a post each or all in the same post (really there are no rules but I'll be doing one a day) with a link back here so we can find your posts (I will set up a linksy for that).
  •  If you don't have a blog, you could leave names and links in the comments, so that we can have a look at who is inspiring you. 
  • You could share the button/badge (using the code below) so others can find us all :)

I’m a visual poet working in just about any medium I can lay my hands on although I am a professionally trained photographer and a so called “self-taught” artist (of course there have been many teachers on that path). I’m in love with the creative process. I’m a beauty unveiler, light huntress, moment caresser and visionary poetess. Ultimately, all of my work is about helping people peel back the layers to experience the intense beauty of each moment allowing access to both their intuitive wisdom and a deeper connection to spirit and self. (Because the beauty of this life cracks our hearts open and it is through the cracks that light can flow both in and out and connect us back to our divine selves) That is what I do and I do it through photography, art, journaling and teaching. I live in the insanely beautiful Blue Mountains, just shy of Sydney, with my family, our cat and all the winged ones who frequent our garden.
